An intelligent answer to stress

My understanding of pressure, recovery, and the mind comes from years of meditation, silent retreat practice, martial arts, study, travel, and decades of close work with people whose lives are full and demanding.

I’ve spent thousands of hours listening carefully to what happens when someone isn’t sleeping well, feels chronically tired, mentally overloaded, caught in difficult relationship dynamics, or is simply trying to keep going when something is not right. Much of my work is helping people make sense of what is happening, see what is taking a toll, and working out what will bring about change.

People often come to me because they want calm, clarity, and room to think properly. I give people room to speak honestly and work through complexity without being rushed or given superficial advice. I’m often able to spot the cycles, habits, and pressure points that are hard to see when you’re in the middle of it.

Completing more than 20 silent meditation retreats, living in different countries, travelling widely, and training in martial arts have all influenced the way I see the world and the way I work. They’ve given me perspective, practical tools, and a way of approaching life that many of my clients now draw from too.

I work mostly one-to-one, and I also welcome corporate enquiries where this kind of support may be useful. The aim is to help you gain insight, practical tools, and a stronger way of working with the pressures and complexities of your life. Alongside this, I share meditations, reflections, and other useful tools through my newsletter.

I’ve worked with individuals and organisations across a range of settings, including business, leadership, media, and public life. The organisations shown here reflect some of that work.

Alongside this, I’ve spent many years developing my practice through mentorship, study, and thousands of hours working directly with clients. My training has included advanced coaching and Neurolinguistic Programming, but just as important has been the depth of time spent in conversation with people who lead demanding lives.

My understanding of meditation and mindfulness has come through long-term study with Tibetan Buddhist teachers, monks, nuns, professors, and contemporary health practitioners. I also spent four years teaching alongside others in a modern Buddhist temple. You can see it in the way I work: calm, practical, attentive, and based on approaches that are easy to put into practice and are effective.
